Fluvanna County's Hannah Meador signed her letter of intent to pole vault at South Dakota while Bryce Campanelli signed to dive at Brown.

Meador is a decorated pole vaulter at Fluvanna County high school. Her sophomore and junior year, Meador was the indoor district, region, state champion and outdoor district, region, state champion. As a freshman, Meador was the indoor district champion and outdoor state champion.

Hannah wanted to be a gymnast at first and even trained at Bela Karolyis gym in Texas with many Olympians, including gold medalist, Gabby Douglas.

"I've kind of always been looking at colleges for pole vaulting," said Meador. "Before that I wanted to do gymnastics in college, so I am really glad to go compete at the collegiate level."

Fluvanna's swim and dive program is only six years old, but this year, their own Bryce Campanelli signed to dive at Brown.

Campanelli said, "Brown is a place where I'd be surrounded by some of the brightest minds, but also some of the best athletes. It was just a place where as soon as I walked on campus, it just sort of felt like home."

Brown has accomplished a great deal for the Fluco diving team. As a junior, Campanelli finished 2nd in the state, and as a sophomore he finished 3rd. His junior and sophomore year he was a district and regional champion. Freshman year, the diver collected 3rd place in the district and 3rd place in the region.
