Dozens of girls gathered in Staunton Saturday to take a trip back in time to celebrate a Victorian Valentine's Day.
The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum hosted more than 30 young ladies between the ages of 6 and 12 for this year's party and tea time.
The girls got to pull taffy, make marbleized autograph books, and listen to lighthearted stories.
Organizers say it's a popular program every year.
“Several of them come back for three or four years in a row, and it fills up very quickly,” said education coordinator Heather Sutton. “We're full today and we've had a wait list and even more people calling and saying there's no room on the wait list.”
The girls also enjoyed a three-course tea at the end of their experience.
The event is one of the library's educational programs for children.
