Paving to Cause Detour in Charlottesville Near Rt. 250 Bypass

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Paving operations will take place this Saturday, February 1st from 8am - 6pm. One lane of westbound Route 250 Bypass will be closed within the construction zone as well as the Park Street ramp onto westbound Route 250 Bypass.

No traffic lanes will be impacted on Sunday, February 2nd.

The closure of the Park Street ramp onto westbound Route 250 Bypass may continue into next week until Friday, February 7th. On these weekdays, the ramp closure will be limited to 9am - 4pm.

During the Park Street ramp closure, motorists will be directed to utilize the Locust Avenue interchange ramps to U-turn. Formal detour signing will be in place.

Work zone is posted at 25 MPH - please drive carefully.
