Most of the 33 restaurants have created special menus for the week.
The event benefits the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
Brendan Gallagher, the general manager of Burton's Grill, says Restaurant Week is a great way to explore different dining options in the community and help neighbors in need.
“I think it's a great opportunity for people in the community to come out and experience something new, a different restaurant, and give back at the same time,” he said. “It's what we like to say, it's a delicious way to donate to charity.”
Burton's grill expects a 40 percent increase in reservations this week.
