A Charlottesville business is getting national recognition in this month's Time magazine.
Relay Foods allows customers to order groceries online, and then pick them up from hundreds of drop-off locations for free. In the Time magazine article, Relay Foods is called a leading start-up in the click-to-collect grocery industry.
Management says in 2013, the company grew by 1,000 new customers every week.
Kevin Kurzendoerfer, the senior VP of operations for Relay Foods said, "Articles like the Time just bring legitimacy behind a great Charlottesville business that's been doing this for a few years. It speaks as a testament to what we're doing."
Relay Foods says its connection with other small businesses has lead to success.
