Harrisonburg Police Investigate Stolen Vehicle, Burglary

On January 22, officers with the Harrisonburg Police Department responded to the Sentara RMH Wellness Center located on Stone Spring Road for a report of a stolen vehicle.

While investigating the stolen vehicle, the officers were informed that the victim’s house in the Massanutten development in Rockingham County was burglarized.

A short time later the stolen vehicle was located, on Route 33 west in Rockingham County, and on fire. The officers, along with deputies from the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, the Rockingham County Fire Marshals, and Massanutten Police Department determined the identity of two individuals involved.

Arrested was Chaz Williams, 18 from Broadway and charged with conspiracy to commit grand larceny. A warrant was obtained for Dzenad Korjenic, 19 of Harrisonburg for grand larceny.  More charges are pending for both individuals.

This is an active investigation and the Harrisonburg Police Department requests that anyone with information pertaining to the case contact the Harrisonburg Police Department at (540) 434-4436.
