The Waynesboro Police Department has arrested a Waynesboro man on several misdemeanor charges after he drunkenly drove around Waynesboro neighborhood brandishing a rifle out his car window.

On Tuesday, January 14 at approximately 4:15 PM, officers responded to area of Jackson Avenue and A Street, which is in a neighborhood locally known as "The Philippines," to investigate a call about a man pointing a gun at people from a car. An officer located a 1998 Honda Accord, driven by Charles Hugh Tigner, 32 years old, on the property of a residence in the 1500 block of Wine Avenue.
