Louisa County football coach Jon Meeks is leaving the Lions to become the new head coach at Brookville High School.

Meeks had a record of 15-17 in three years at Louisa.

Jon Meeks took over the Lions in 2011 after Mark Fischer left to become the head coach at St. James High School in South Carolina.

Meeks was an assistant on the Louisa staff for nine years before receiving the nod for the head position.

Brookville is Monticello head coach Jeff Woody's former school.

The Bees won back-to-back state championships under Woody in 2011 and 2012.
