Fluvanna County's Board of Supervisors is now asking for less money in a multimillion-dollar lawsuit with its former financial advisor, Davenport & Company.
Lawyers representing the board filed a motion last week to amend the original complaint against Davenport. The filing reduces the damage claim from $18 million to just over $5 million.
The board cites that, after refinancing all bonds, it found that the damages were less than originally calculated.
