Charlottesville Police Investigate Early Morning Stabbing

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (WVIR) - Charlottesville Police Press Release

Charlottesville Police are investigating an early morning stabbing that took place in the 1100 blk of 5th St. S.W.at approx. 2:15 am. Police have arrested Dominic Jabbara Lewis, 41, a Charlottesville resident. The victim, a 26- year-old male from Charlottesville, was transported to the UVA Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. This incident stemmed from a previous altercation between the two men earlier in the night.

Lewis has been charged with Malicious Wounding and is scheduled for a first appearance on Jan. 13 in the Charlottesville General District Court.
