A new year also means a new chair for the Augusta County Board of Supervisors.
During a reorganizational meeting Thursday night in Verona, supervisors voted in Larry Wills as the new chair, replacing Jeff Moore. The vice chair is now Michael Shull.
Wills held the title of chair 20 years ago. He says he expects the budget to continue to be a hot topic, as well as fire and rescue.
