UVa women's basketball player Amanda Fioravanti is leaving the program, transferring after just one semester at Virginia.
The 6-foot-1 freshman forward played in just 8 of Virginia's first 13 games this season averaging just 1.5 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.
Cavs coach Joanne Boyle said, "I am obviously disappointed in this decision, but I wish Amanda luck in her future endeavors."
Fioravanti was the Player of the Year last year in the state of Maryland averaging 19 points and 8 rebounds her senior year at Good Counsel HS.
