UVa Men's Basketball is Blown Out 87-52 at Tennessee

The Virginia men's basketball team lost 87-52 at Tennessee Monday night in UVa's final non-conference game of the season.

The Volunteers hit 11-of-18 three-point attempts, while the Cavaliers made just 18-of-55 shots from the floor.

Justin Anderson scored 11 points to lead Virginia (9-4) in scoring for the 3rd game in a row.

Mike Tobey had 10 points and seven rebounds, while Joe Harris was held to seven points.

The Wahoos were allowing just 54.2 points per game heading into the contest, which is the 4th-best average in the nation, and had defeated the Vols 46-38 at John Paul Jones Arena last season.

The 35-point loss this year is Virginia's largest since losing to Washington 106-63 at the Maui Invitational on November 22nd, 2010.

UVa will open up ACC play on the road at Florida State Saturday at 5 PM.
