The Virginia men's basketball team will play its final non-conference game of the season Monday, as the Cavaliers go on the road to face Tennessee.

UVa won a 46-38 battle with the Volunteers at John Paul Jones Arena last season.

Points could be at a premium again this year, as the Wahoos are ranked second in the nation in scoring defense.

There is a lot of crossover between the two teams, as Mike Tobey teamed up with Jarnell Stokes on the Under-19 gold medal team, and Akil Mitchell played with Jordan McRae at the LeBron James skills camp.

Transfer forward Anthony Gill also squared off against Tennessee twice in his freshman season at South Carolina.

Gill says, "They have the same big's that they had whenever I was playing.  It'll be similar, but I feel like if we just do what we need to do, it'll be a good game."

Mitchell adds, "I know quite a bit about Tennessee.  We saw them last year.  I know Mike (Tobey) knows a couple of the guys.  I know a couple of the guys from this summer.  It'll be a heated battle.  They have a good team with a lot of talent, but we'll just do what we do."

Virginia and Tennessee tip-off Monday at seven o'clock in Knoxville.
