A Nelson County man who pleaded guilty to slashing a teen's face and arms will spend four years and six months behind bars.
Tony Page, 39, was sentenced Tuesday morning in Charlottesville Circuit Court to 15 years on a malicious wounding charge. The judge then suspended 10 years and six months.
Page pleaded guilty in August after investigators say he got into a argument with an 18-year-old man last February. It happened at an apartment along Ninth Street in Charlottesville.
The victim was treated at University of Virginia Medical Center for his injuries. Page will face two years of probation once he is released.
