City Council decided it will sell a city-owned 1.7-acre lot of land - but did not pick a buyer at its meeting Monday night.
Councilors debated six different proposals for the land along Kenwood Lane, but decided to change the size of the parcel. Bids ranged from $10 to more than $101,000.
Charlottesville Parks and Recreation bought the land in 2009 to provide for trail access and floodplain protection near Greenbrier Park. The city has spent more than $175,000 to clean up the lot.
