Governor-elect Terry McAuliffe is announcing his latest cabinet picks. In Richmond Thursday morning, he named Nancy Rodrigues as his choice for secretary of administration and Karen Jackson as secretary of technology.
McAuliffe says both bring unparalleled experience: Rodrigues from her time on the state board of elections and Jackson, from serving as the deputy secretary of technology under governors Kaine and McDonnell.
“Both Nancy and Karen have long records of serving Virginia and improving their communities, and I know they will be great assets to me as we begin to tackle the great challenges facing Virginia over the course of the next four years,” McAuliffe said.
McAuliffe will make another announcement Friday, naming his choice for secretary of public safety.
