Ruby Tuesday Community Give Back Program Benefits Alzheimer's Association
During this season of giving you can enjoy American dining while supporting causes in the community. Ruby Tuesday in the Barracks Road Shopping Center is holding its "community give-back" event.
On Tuesday, 20 percent of your purchase will go toward the Alzheimer’s Association of Central and Western Virginia, a non-profit organization in Charlottesville.
Ruby Tuesday manager Gary Thayer said, "It's a way that basically they can control their own destiny where, if they get signed up and approved, we send them a flyer that they can distribute through their organization, and everybody that brings the flyer in on the day that's assigned to them 20 percent of what they spend will go back to the organization."
The community give back program is year-round. Wednesday’s event will support Caring for Creatures.
