Justin Anderson's three-point try at the buzzer bounced off the rim, and the Virginia men's basketball team lost 75-72 at Wisconsin-Green Bay Saturday.

Cavaliers head coach Tony Bennett drops to 2-1 against his alma mater.

UVa (7-3) trailed by as many as 13 points in the second half, but came back to tie the game at 69-69 on a Malcolm Brogdon three-pointer with 1:51 to go.

However, they were never able to take the lead.

Brogdon scored a team-high and career-high 17 points for the Cavaliers.

The Wahoos had five players score in double figures, as Joe Harris and Anthony Gill each scored 12 points, while Anderson and Akil Mitchell had 10.

Virginia is now off two weeks for exams, and returns to action December 21st against Northern Iowa.
