Lodge at Old Trail Holiday Bazaar Benefits Alzheimer’s Association
A Crozet retirement community is spreading holiday cheer and supporting those in need in the process.
The Lodge at Old Trail hosted its first holiday bazaar, benefiting the Alzheimer's Association. Organizer Janice Applebach says several vendors are her neighbors, and most have shops right in Crozet.
The event also provides a means of holiday shopping for people who live at the lodge who can't travel far.
"We're very excited about, that people have come and participated and done it in a really grand way and I think you can see from the products that are here, it's just a really nice show and people have really participated well,” Applebach said.
The lodge is only 18 months old, so the bazaar gives residents the opportunity to interact with their new community. Organizers hope it will become an annual event.
