2 Women Accused of Stealing Deceased Veteran’s Purple Heart

WAYNESBORO, Va (WVIR) -

Two Augusta County women are in hot water after police say they stole, among other things, a deceased World War II veteran's Purple Heart.

Angela Sullivan, 36, and Morgan Brydge, 20, are each charged with felony breaking and entering. They were found by police in the basement of a Waynesboro home and showed signs of being high.

Items in their car, including the Purple Heart, were reported stolen from a home in Fishersville.
