The Boy Scouts are officially out selling Christmas trees. Troop 1028 set up a Christmas tree shop on Pantops in Albemarle County Saturday afternoon.
The money raised from sales is used to send the scouts to camps.
One scout says selling trees is hard work, but it's worth the reward.
“We go to different camps so that costs money but you can use some of this money to go our camps for less,” said Boy Scout Henry Schneehagen.
The trees range from $35-80, depending on their height and weight.
The Boy Scouts will be there to help you pick out the perfect Christmas tree everyday leading up to the holiday.
