Home Instead Senior Care donated the turkeys and everyone who came brought another side dish. When the event first started, the center served a few dozen people, but it has grown to serve over 130 people.
"It's a blessing for us. We normally have been closed. We realized there was a need out there. There are folks out there who are by themselves or folks out there that are just a couple,” said Margaret Fitch of the Senior Center.
Plenty of volunteers helped cut the turkeys and help clean up.
