Culpeper Police Searching for Alleged Thief

Town of Culpeper Press Release

The Culpeper Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying a man who allegedly stole about $2,000 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart on Nov. 5

Police say the man entered the store about 5:40 a.m. He allegedly filled the shopping cart with a desktop computer, electronic devices, two vacuum cleaners and clothes before leaving the store without paying.

The man was seen on video surveillance loading the items into a silver SUV.

The unidentified black man is believed to about 6 feet tall, in his 30s wearing a plaid shirt and tan work boots.
