PACEM'S Holiday Stop and Shop Benefits Charlottesville Homeless
A dozen vendors set up
shop in Charlottesville to sell holiday gifts while helping the homeless.
Proceeds from Sunday's "Holiday
Stop and Shop" at the Holiday Inn on Emmett Street will help support PACEM, a
group of church congregations that assists the homeless in Charlottesville.
"I really appreciate
that they are collecting things for people who need a place to stay or
providing just a service to our community and just people who may not have as
much for themselves," said Monique Bragg, who organized the event.
Shoppers were also able to
donate items to PACEM.
