A new farmer's market in Charlottesville is offering fresh produce under one roof in these colder months.
People flocked to the farmers and artisans market Saturday at Park Street Christian Church. More than 40 vendors sold meats, fruits and crafts.
The church will use proceeds for a mission to help a Native American tribe.
"We will be visiting Chaco Canyon and we will be helping local Navajo residents build homes and ramps for people who need it," said church member Bettie Dexter.
The Park Street Christian Church will host the market on the second Saturday of every month until March, which is right about when the weather gets warmer.
