STAB's Lee Parkhill Named Falcon Club Player of the Week

St. Anne's Belfield junior quarterback Lee Parkhill is the Falcon Club Player of the Week.

Parkhill came through when his team needed him the most.   With a playoff spot on the line Saturday, Parkhill completed 13 of 16 passes for 315 yards and four touchdowns helping the Saints beat Blue Ridge 42-7 and clinching a post season berth for the Saints.

Parkhill says, "We knew it was a big game for us, throughout the week we knew how focused we had to be and we came out that day and played well."

Parkhill adds, "It took a lot of other people doing their job to let me do what I did, I had a good game but it took a lot of other people, the line was blocking good, running back was doing good the defense was helping me out."

Coach John Blake says, "He came out and was on fire and was really focused and I think he did a great job of hitting all of his receivers, he saw the field real well and he was impressive Saturday."

STAB will play at Bishop Sullivan Friday at 7pm in the first round of the state playoffs.
