President Obama Rallies for Terry McAuliffe in Arlington
The president rallied Democratic supporters behind Terry McAuliffe in Arlington Sunday afternoon. The president told the crowd McAuliffe's Republican opponent - Ken Cuccinelli - puts tea party politics over the practicalities of governing.
Ken Cuccinelli's campaign issued a statement in response to president Obama's support for McAuliffe.
It says , in part, "the president's visit is an important reminder of Terry McAuliffe's blind support of his big-government agenda starting with Obamacare, which was deceptively sold and is hurting Virginians."
Cuccinelli will campaign with Florida senator Marco Rubio Monday.
