One week after the Madison County Schools shut down for a day, the man arrested for the conflict that prompted the closure appeared in Madison County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
Christopher Snoddy, 33, is charged with misdemeanor assault and battery against a family or household member.
Snoddy had two hearings Monday. The computer specialist was in court to discuss getting an attorney and a petition for a protective order.
The judge set his trial date for November 25.
