Hundreds of people spent the weekend pedaling their way through Staunton for the annual Shenandoah Fall Foliage Bike Festival.
Many cyclists spent the first day of the festival doing a 100 mile bike ride known as "The Century". Sunday, riders did a metric century - which is still more than 60 miles on the bike.
One cyclist says the festival is worth the drive from Virginia Beach.
"We come up here, this is probably one of the best bike tours events that we do all year, just love it. It's a fantastic event. It's usually great to come up here in Staunton, see the colors changing, the routes, the scenery are excellent," said festival participant Scott Steward
This year, the festival added a new route with 13 miles on gravel - which cyclists say adds to the challenge.
