Blue Team Wins UVa Baseball's World Series 4 Games to 3

The Virginia baseball team is hoping to be playing in the College World Series this spring. The Cavaliers getting a start on their postseason hopes this fall with the annual Orange and Blue World Series.

Game seven was played on Sunday at Davenport Field.

In the ninth inning, Matt Thaiss hit a walk-off two-run single to lift the Blue team over the Orange team 3-2 and also to take the World series four games to three. 

The regular season and the road to Omaha will get underway in February.
