Stuarts Draft HS Participates in Safe Driving Campaign
Stuarts Draft High School is making a commitment to fostering a safe driving community.
The SADD club, or Students Against Drunk Driving, just won a virtual driving simulator as part of a victory at an educator's challenge. Now, students are taking on a different competition.
Voting begins Friday for the State Farm "Celebrate my Drive" contest. The winner takes home $100,000 toward safe driving and school-wide education programs.
"They are asking people to go online to celebratemydrive.com to make a safe driving commitment and to support a high school. The high school that gets the most votes get $100,000. Plus a concert from Kelly Clarkson, free to the entire school," said Martha Mikell, SADD club sponsor.
Stuarts Draft was in the top 20 as of Friday afternoon.
