A former Albemarle County Supervisor can't practice law in Virginia. Attorney Christopher Dumler had his license suspended by the Virginia State Bar on October 9.
It could be for a host of reasons, like not paying dues or failing to take a mandatory test - but there is no word yet on the exact reason Dumler's license was suspended.
Dumler made headlines after pleading guilty to misdemeanor sexual battery earlier this year. He then went to court to fight a petition drive calling for his removal from the Board of Supervisors, won the case, then stepped down less than a week later.
Dumler is also wanted in Orange County after not showing up for a trial back in June.
