The Republican hoping to become Virginia's next governor rallied voters in the Shenandoah Valley.
Ken Cuccinelli asked supporters to "pick up the phone and get the word out" during a stop in Harrisonburg.
Cuccinelli said Democratic opponent Terry McAuliffe has focused on a negative campaign against him. The Virginia Attorney General says many of McAuliffe's ads are false.
"My opponent has more or less banked his whole campaign on attacking me in ways that he thinks will scare women including lying to them about my position on things like contraception and divorce. Just lie after lie," Cuccinelli said.
Cuccinelli also stopped in Staunton and Waynesboro Saturday.
Next week, he gets some help on the campaign trail from reality television couple the Duggars. The family from TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" will travel across Virginia to support Cuccinelli's campaign as part of a values bus tour.
