The Legacy Mustang Preservation in Louisa County is holding a benefit dinner Saturday night to continue providing a nurturing environment for the horses in its care.
The group relocated to a new property in July and is expanding its sanctuary. It has also recently made a commitment to serve as a safety net for more than 30 horses from North Dakota. Funds raised from the event, "Born Wild – A Celebration of the American Mustang," will go to support those costs.
The dinner begins at 6 p.m. and tickets are $80 per person or $150 per couple.
