The NBC 29/Kroger Tailgate party will be at Stuarts Draft High School Friday night, where the Cougars will be getting ready to host rival Wilson Memorial.
The Green Hornets enter the game with a 4-1 record, and have averaged close to 50-points per game in their last two matches.
Wilson has four-straight wins against its rivals, including a 27-12 victory in the state playoffs last season, and the Hornets say they're looking to keep the streak intact.
Senior linebacker Noah Perkins says, "It would mean everything. It's not the high point of the season, but it's the starting point of what's to come. It's a good match-up. Draft is a good team, but we're practicing real hard, and we're looking for a win."
"We're very ready for that," adds junior running back Savant Swift. "Everybody has been talking about it, Twitter and everything. Try to stay humble. Not talk to much. Just wait until Friday. Good teams like that, AAA teams, that'll definitely help us to see what we see in the playoffs."
Stuarts Draft is 5-0 this year, and there should be plenty of intensity between the two rivals Friday night.
"Very big," says Swift. "We have a spot just in our hearts for them. It is Draft. There's just something there."
Perkins adds, "We have to be on our best game, and be on top, and keep fighting, and don't let them get the big plays that they need. Just step on their throats with three and out's."
Stuarts Draft head coach Rod Bowers says, "They're big, they're strong. They're a really good football team. Very athletic. So we're going to have to come to play."
