Evie Maxwell scores for Monticello

The Monticello field hockey team beat visiting Powhatan 4-0 Wednesday night.

The Mustangs volleyball team lost 3-1 at home against the Indians.

Monticello (4-8) won the first game 25-22, but lost the next three 28-26, 25-11, and 25-22.
