Albemarle Police Investigate Commercial Break-Ins

Albemarle County Police Department Press Release

The Albemarle County Police Department is investigating one commercial break-in and a possible attempted break-in at the Pantops Shopping Center in the Jefferson District. The crimes took place overnight on Monday, October 7th into the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 8th.

The Insurance Doctor at Pantops Circle was broken into and items were taken from the business. Radio Shack was also targeted but not successfully entered by the suspects. Officers were able to collect evidence at the scenes and are following up on leads. Based on the close proximity of the businesses, investigators believe they are likely connected.
