Fluvanna Chamber of Commerce to Host Candidate's Forum

Posted: Updated:

Wednesday, Fluvanna County voters can hear from the candidates running to fill two seats on the Board of Supervisors. The Fluvanna County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidate's forum at Fluvanna County High School.

The two candidates running for the Columbia District seat and the two running for the Rivanna District seat will answer eight questions from the chamber. School budgets, economic development, and bringing water to Zion Crossroads are expected to be hot topics.

"My hope for tonight is that people will come out and hear how the candidates view each topic, how they're going to handle themselves on those topics in the next four years, and they can make an educated decision on which person they feel will do the best job representing them for the next four years," said Scott Valentine, president of the Fluvanna County Chamber of Commerce.

The candidate's forum starts at 7 p.m.

Election Day is November 5.
