The housing and retail project on West Main Street near 10th Street NW is on its way to Charlottesville City Council.
The Charlottesville Planning Commission's approval Tuesday night came with a long list of conditions including creating more pedestrian access, closing off a courtyard to add more retail space and conducting a traffic study.
The project includes 89 residential units, retail space and a parking lot.
City Council still needs to approve the project for it to move forward.
