The Virginia Tech football team will play its ACC home opener Saturday against North Carolina.
The Hokies are 1-0 on the ACC.
North Carolina is 0-1.
The Tar Heels crushed the Hokies 48-34 in Chapel Hill last year.
The Heels ran for 339 yards, with the majority of them coming from Gio Bernard.
This year, it's a big early season game.
A tech win would give the Hokies the tiebreaker in the Coastal Division over UNC and Georgia Tech.
Freshman cornerback Brandon Facyson says, "We look at the big picture, but then again, you can't look at the big picture too much. You have to take it one step at a time, and no steps back. If you take care of the little things, the big things will come. We're going to take it one step at a time, and continue to get better, offensively and defensively."
Virginia Tech will host UNC Saturday at noon on the CW network.
