A central Virginia support group raised money for charity over pancakes Sunday morning.
The Knights of Columbus held a benefit breakfast at the Church of the Incarnation in Albemarle County. The group holds fundraisers for different causes every two months. The proceeds from Sunday's event will go to the Pregnancy Centers of Central Virginia.
"They're a vibrant part of our community - helping the elderly, helping the disadvantaged, helping the poor," said Joseph Ciaccio, a council 3670 grand knight.
The Knights of Columbus has also raised funds to benefit groups including Doctors Without Borders and the Special Olympics.
