Albemarle Police Investigate Commercial Burglaries, Car Break-Ins

Albemarle County police are reporting several burglaries that happened overnight in and around Earlysville.

The Earlysville General Store, a law office, and a garden store were all broken into Thursday night.  There were also five cars along Panorama Road that someone got into and stole loose change.

The Albemarle County Police reports several commercial burglaries that occurred overnight. Shortly after 3:00 am the Earlysville General Store, located at 4251 Earlysville Road, was broken into. Police were contacted following an alarm activation at the store.

Also overnight the office of Haley, Chisholm and Morris Inc., at 3316 Earlysville Road, was broken into.

Also broken into overnight was the Garden Spot, located at 515 W. Rio Road.

Force was used to gain entry to all of these businesses.

Additionally county police investigated five reports of cars having been entered along Panorama Road overnight. Panorama Road runs off of Earlysville Road. All of the cars that were entered were unlocked. Loose coins were taken from the vehicles.
