Charlottesville police say someone wrought about $1,600 worth of damage in slashed tires.
Police are investigating a vandalism case near Shamrock Road in Charlottesville. Sometime overnight Wednesday, someone slashed the tires on 10 cars.
"The tires that were on the, facing on the driver side of the vehicle out in the street area, were cut with some type of a sharp object, flattening the tires on 10 automobiles. Out of the 10 vehicles, it was 11 tires total, estimated to be about $1,600 worth of damage," said Lieutenant Ronnie Roberts, spokesperson for the Charlottesville Police Department.
The police are asking anyone who has information to call Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000.
