A man who led Charlottesville police on a wild and destructive chase in spring will spend six and a half years in prison.
Marcell Turner, 26, had 38 years and three months of his sentence suspended in Charlottesville Circuit Court Tuesday. He will also have to reimburse the police department more than $7,000 to pay for damages.
Police arrested Turner on April 3 following a car chase where police say he rammed two unmarked police cars and injured an officer.
