Posted: Updated:

The top-ranked Virginia women's soccer team improves to 9-0 as the Cavaliers win 3-1 at Pittsburgh.

"You always have to feel good about getting a result on the road in this league," said head coach Steve Swanson. "Give Pitt a lot of credit, they played very hard and were very determined in the final third."

Makenzy Doniak scored twice while Morgan Brian netted a goal and an assist.

The Wahoos outshot the Panthers 37-3 and had a 13-0 corner kick advantage, setting season highs in both categories.

UVa will play at Duke Thursday in Durham.
