Posted: Updated:

The UVa men's soccer team had a manic late rally as Matt Brown scored with six seconds left in regulation to tie NC State 3-3 to pull the game into overtime. The Cavaliers (2-3-1, 0-2-1 ACC) trailed by two with 15 minutes remaining in the match.

Virginia controlled possession for much of the game and out-shot the Wolfpack, 26-10.

Brown, Darius Madison and Marcus Salandy-Defour each scored for the Cavaliers.

UVa out-shot NC State 6-0 over the course of the two extra periods.

The Cavaliers will play at home again at 7 p.m. Tuesday against Providence.
