7th Annual Chili, Brews n' Blues Kicks off in Waynesboro Saturday

Posted: Updated:

The Virginia Chili, Brews n' Blues Festival is taking over downtown Waynesboro Saturday afternoon. Organizers say this it's the festival's seventh year and it should be the best yet.

Organizers expect thousands to come out and experience the full lineup of live performances, microbrews, and chili.

"And it is there until it is gone. And trust me, it doesn't stick around too long. We will rock and roll through that chili. We went through 15,000 to 18,000 cups and spoons last year," said Terry Short Jr., event organizer.

The event is sponsored by Waynesboro Downtown Development and goes from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday.

If you buy your tickets online before midnight Friday, you'll get a discount.
