Staunton Siblings Found Guilty in Relation to Woman’s Beating

Posted: Updated:

A Waynesboro judge found a brother and sister from Staunton guilty of lesser charges in relation to a beating.

Sudana Louise Wilmott, 24, will serve a year and a half for assault and battery and trespassing . Leslie Terrell Wilmott, 27, will serve six months for trespassing.

Waynesboro police arrested the siblings earlier this year after investigators said they were involved in an attack of a woman at her home off North Delphine Avenue in February.

The pair both originally faced other charges including malicious wounding, but those charges were dropped prior to trial.

The two have a long criminal record, including several felony convictions.
