The UVa men's basketball team has gotten a verbal commitment from 6-foot-10 center Jack Salt from New Zealand.
Salt currently plays for the New Zealand National Team. He is a left-handed 17 year old who may be a bit of a project. Salt reportedly also had interest from Boise St., St. Mary's and Pittsburgh.
Salt is the third member of Virginia's 2014 class joining B.J. Stith and Isaiah Wilkins.
The Cavaliers could get a big-time prospect on Friday when Benedictine guard Robert Johnson will chose between Virginia, North Carolina, Indiana and Florida State.
